This build has me inspired my friend. Keep up the great work and keep us up to speed on your progress. Very nice homie!

thanks a lot for the nice comment hommie, want updates? here they are!

Starting to seal the box :)

Ok, for this application, i felt like it was easier and better to build the trim panels around the box, screw them and carpet them instead of doing it outside like you usually see, let´s start the puzzle!

good old cardboard...

Top panel done!

bottom panel done, box is closed everywhere now, it was time to start testing before adding spanding foam and some good old gorilla tape to seal everything better!!

First test with the trim panels on, it definitely did a HUGE change, played everything way louder, and i could also play A LOT with the port, i know it will give me different results with more power, but i really wanted to get the most efficiency i could with small power, anyways, new results:

Impedance rise went from 2.4 ohms to 4.3 ohms lol, while the rise went sky high the efficiency did also, clamped 1421 watts at 40 hz and about 750 watts at 24 hz

At 24 hz

At 40 hz

It was time to finish up the "puzzle" , on this picture you clearly can see i shrinked the port area with 2 mdf woods, past that point output dropped on the meter and ears, the best i could find was 410 SQ of port and 6.25" long tuned to about 45 hz

no comments and 73 visitors? damn! haha, anyways, more updates! here, you clearly can see gaps all over the trim panels, so it was time for some good old spanding foam and gorilla tape to seal everything properly from the back...

On this picture, you can see the huge gap on the right trim panel, sealing everything first with gorilla tape then!

New score at 24 hz... Got lows?

New score at 40 hz, 1411 watts :)

Still some leaks , spanding foam will be my next update :)

Temporary amplifier with a rat nest around it lol, don´t mind about that mess, everything is going to be cleaned up as soon as my loudforce 10K arrives and also hook up the x-over, EQ and 4 channel amplifiers.

The cadence C6 is a 6000.1 @ 1 ohm amplifier rated at 18v , in reality, it can provide you about 4K at 1 ohm and 14v wich sounds cool for testing, i´m wired at 1 ohm for the moment and here´s the first video of the explorer playing, burped a 148.1 at 52 hz and 146.5 at 29 hz, clamped 1700 watts at 2.4 ohms and 11.6v without charging the batts or testing anything, just wanted to fired it up and see how it plays, before i can test with port area, tuning, etc etc, i need to seal everything from the back so i don´t get erratic results, so far so good :)

nice air movement buddy. how many cubes is this thing? I missed it
