goodvibez
Nice setup man! Just went through the build I have to say water cooling projects are awesome! Scary sometimes but seriously cool! First thing I ever did was my xbox360 back when they used to have massive "red ring" problems. Used alot of Koolance stuff like yours and I have to say your set up looks sick! Quote Funny how the people who have a louder system than you will usually give you a compliment about your setup because they know how much blood, sweat, time, and money you put into it. The people who criticize or try and one up you....have a p.o.s to no system at all and will tell you all about this "other" guys system! Saddley I'm sure if I meet this "other" guy...he will probably tell me he thinks your just as annoying as I think you are! I'm not compensating, just proud of fabricating! taylorpro
Amy reason you chose the 4820k over something like the 4930k? I know price is a factor but the extra cores only available on socket 2011 are nice to have. Great looking build though man. Should be capable for quite a long time even with tripple 1440 monitors. I know price is a factor but the extra cores only available on socket 2011 are nice to have. Great looking build though man. Should be capable for quite a long time even with tripple 1440 monitors. In for benchmarks With talking to him through the rebuild, almost everything was bought LOCALLY (minus the water cooling, and the 3rd video card (since that has been out of stock locally for some time now)). Not to mention to spend $500-1000+ on a current socket 2011 Intel chip right now is rather dumb, the new new chips are right around the corner and coming very very fast, which will result in these big dog chips like the i7-4960X will be dropping in price big time since Intel will continue devolving for this socket (or so all the big time geeks are reporting such as Anandtech, Tek Syndicate, Linus, etc.
Guest
Yeah I went with LGA 2011 a year ago knowing that the 4xxx chips would drop, I'm still rocking my 3820..I'd imagine Intel would only drop one more generation of processors for it after the 4xxx, and drop another socket type but you never know... meade916
I may not have the fastest X-series Intel chip, but my machine still has balls. My previous best was 8500ish. 1 Quote All SMD products + MORE available at my store here! https://wccaraudio.com/ Subscribe to My Youtube Channel! Over 1,000,000 subscribers strong!
