focused313 Posted December 8, 2013 Report Posted December 8, 2013 my experience is limited, but I can only vouch for two brands as far as producing well for me... Alpine Type R's and Soundqubed. I say save money on the subs, make sure your enclosure is well built, and spend the savings on an amp that delivers rated power efficiently. Learning Everyday. GueroZ28 Posted December 8, 2013 Author Report Posted December 8, 2013 I'd go Soundqubed HDS200 only $85 for a 12" with free shipping. Saves you some money to spend on a pretty good amp. They seem perfect might get those now need an amp
GueroZ28 Posted December 8, 2013 Author Report Posted December 8, 2013 Also a good amp to go with subs
shanesauce Posted December 8, 2013 Report Posted December 8, 2013 If I am not mistaken the HDS200 handle 600 each? So you might as well grab the 1200.1 from soundqubed for $260 or however much it is. - 2012 Mustang 3.7 Manual - Audio under construction

Agreed, The 1200 is a great amp. Brother in law is using it to push one SDC 2.5 which is the same as the HDS200 and it moves like crazy! He loves the setup compared to his old kicker CVR 12's. 2001 Chevy Blazer LS Kenwood KDC-HD552U 2 12" SDC 2.5 D4 Fi SP4 18" 4 Sundown SA-12's HiFonics BE 1200.1 Soundstream RUB1.2500D Looking for a 5k XS Power D3100 4 Soundqubed 6.5's (Pro Audio) 2 Soundqubed 3-Way 6.5's 2 Soundqubed Super Tweeters
