majorpayne Posted March 6, 2008 Report Share Posted March 6, 2008 didnt galaticmonkey do this set-up already, and blew his subs becuase the tuning was to low, the box was to big, and he had too much port area? he had 8 1500's tho...strapped at .7...datsalottapower....lol....i would say as many 2400's as you can fit/afford, its never bad to have more battery backup than needed...im only running 4 pc2150's on roughly 10-12k with a 300 amp alt, and i only get about a 1-1.5 volt drop...not too bad, but i have two more batts i have to rig up also, hopefully that will help.. mrwigglezdj Posted March 6, 2008 Report Share Posted March 6, 2008 basicly in a nut shell, and with that power might want to consider another alt ontop of the 300 amper, thats alot of amp on a alt even at 300 amp, but i would think 5-6 batts would work decently , but you might still have drops with all that power draw..
