biscuitownz
Best thing to do instead of looking for that small strand of wire is to just take an air compressor to it, it'll save so much time

Novak
put power to it let it go in to protect.. wait about one minute.. and shut it down ... feel all of the caps and resistors and make shure that their is no excessive heat emanating from any specific area.. note:resistors do tend to heat up. but they shouldn't get hot enough to burn you form a short period of run time 98 honda civic hx build in process have need sundown x-12 d4 more sound deadening sundown saz1500d v2 alternator (mechman) sky high 1/0 w/ big 3 false walls and fiberglassing amp rack (half done) and box processor kicker zx 200.4 (mids/highs) infinity reference components trunk lid rear deck and rear quarter panels deadened kinetic hc1400 under the hood (picking up 2 more late Jan early feb) check it out http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1wF0CV2NaX4 November 9th, 2013 metered 140.3 at Midwest audio &detailing sealed on dash w/ termlab (w/ old alpine amp, new amp yet to be metered)
Jskiles
Took the amp to class today and had some of my instructors check it out. Looks like some of the larger caps might be bulging out slightly, but it could also be our eyes seeing shit lol. I need to figure out how to remove the board without damaging the voltage regulators. I guess the worst thing that could happen is having an expensive door stop... 2010 Kia Forte Koup (Slow Build) 2 Sundown SCV-3000D 2 DC XL M1 with PSI reconesFocal R-165s2 on Orion 4800-HPKenwood KDC-X798Knukonceptz OFC 1/0Audiotechnix,Fatmat and Q-mat Deadener XS power D3400 up front 3 D3100s power in trunkStock 110 amp alt 2013 Scion TC 2 Dc lvl 3s with xl coils on Soundqubed 2200 Sundown components AA 50.2 for components Pioneer FH-X700BT Knukonceptz OFC 1/0 Fatmat and Q-mat Deadener XS Power D3100 up front D925 in back Mechman 240 alt http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/189911-2013-scion-tc-build/ <Scion TC Build http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/174094-jskiles-forte-koup/ <Slow Kia Forte Buildhttp://www.stevemead...ockUserAgent__1 < Old build 2005 Equinox
ChevyBoy95
get a good look at the legs of the fets, sometimes they blow without leaving burnt remnance on the board. sometimes they blow but all that happens is they melt a bit where the fets leg enters the fet.
