hdorre
Im going to be using an aeroport for my next box. I can't find a reason NOT to. Edit: Im going to be using a 4" diameter port, which will be 13" long (including flares). Would 2 22.5 degree bends be THAT bad? Afficionado
You could make the outside of it look like an octoport with MDF. that would make it look pretty cool. If you have any questions relating to nutrition, lifting, or health in general, feel free to give me a PM and I will give you straight forward advice with no BS involved. alaskanzx5
Areyou using an aero port or flared pvc? either way you could get a bigger pvc pipe and side the aero put in to it as a sort of outer shell. Then use body Filler/fiber glass to make it seamless. Then paint as you want to t1500bdcp 2 t2d4 15" 1 t600.4 1 t400.2 1 set p1 tweets singer alt, tons of wiring, smd vm-1, 80prs, back seat delete, still in the works, aiming for a 145-147 with the ability to play 25hz up to 50hz. TylerParrish
I always thought of adding mdf rings up until you reach the end of the flare, then you can bondo and sand it all so it doesn't look like multiple MDF rings. Thats exactly what I was thinking, but I don't have a router. CleanSierra
HunterJohnson makes MDF rings if that's the route you want to go. The angle of the bends wouldn't be a bad thing either, up to 90° bends area perfectly fine. Any more bend than that and I think efficiency could start coming into play(lack of efficiency) Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you. Joe X
The slower the bend turns the lesser loses you will experience so try to find a fitting that doesn't turn sharply if possible and it will work better.

I was hoping you'd see this. Thank god! So two 22.5 degree bends are better than a single 45 degree bend, right? I guess that if you are willing to assemble together 4 of those you could achieve a slow 90 deg turn, yes, but it would maybe be a lot of work, there should be slower turning 90 deg turns or a dual 45 deg set, just go and see what you can find that will actually work on your space.
