If you want a street car have a street car if you want a track car go out and buy something for the track. Just a heads up for you your car insurance provider isn't gonna help you if you wreck a car at the drag strip. I'm assuming since this car is so new that you still owe money on it so imagine what's gonna happen if you wreck it and your insurance will give you nothing. That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals. Honestly, Hyundai could shit on Camaro and Mustang sales if they would make a Coupe 5.0 R-spec. Or a 5.0 Coyote motor... Lots more fun than a LS motor. continuously variable cam timing and a really nice torque curve from both of those motors make them a lot better choice than a boring-ish LSx swap. zayres29 Posted January 7, 2014 Author Report Share Posted January 7, 2014 there is no after market for that motor and i would gain nothing i would be exactly where im at now the aftermarket is lacking on these cars as far as the 3.8 goes now the 2.0T is a whole other story there are guys making 700hp with those cars but they were meant to be the tuner car and the 3.8 was meant to be a cruiser i agree though if they made a coupe with the 5.0 it would be sick but it will never happen and even if they did parts would be impossible to find the aftermarket is endless for the ls based motors Btw that was the first person.
