I tend to get a good amount back every year and buy one big item for myself. The rest they do whatever they want with. Its worth the 250 when the return is plus 2500 etc. Last yr we used it for my shed and new laminate floors. This year it might be a new deck. Haven't decided yet. Stop using HR Block or trying to do it yourself. Get a private accountant and it'll do wonders for you.

Edit But my wife went to school all year and only worked part time. So that should help. Although it sucks that bush era tax credits are gone. The year I graduated, my wife was in school as well but for longer in the year. I think combined we paid 11k in taxes and got about $8700 of it back. UBL | Build Log

Tge deduct shit I would have never thought, they know of tax cradits you might not be aware of. Shit I won't go into exact detail, but the year we bought our house we ended up getting back over $10K Firm believer in letting my cars do my talking! You can't rush quality, it doesn't happen overnight. Quality takes time and dedication, but the end results more than pay for it.
