Ken why i say you have to try a few times it is because the first time you are learning the bike. the second time you are getting used to the shifting and the clutch. the third time it gets a bit easy. the 4th time it gets easy to get around and you start to push it a bit. from 5th and over you cant stop but grin as you ride. i don't know if everyone does it but the first time i got on the freeway i was screaming like Rick flair by the excitement.riding is one of the best things i have done. its like freedom at its best. when i first started i would think about the other drivers and cars but the more you ride the more you dont mind or even notice how bad traffic is. you also learn to read drivers habits and helps you be a better rider.. this is something you have to try for yourself.. i tell this to everyone who ask. i tell them if they want to get the feel for it get the safety course to learn to be safe and to get the feel of riding. after that ride a few of your friends bikes in empty parking lots. this is me when i got used to riding my logshttp://www.stevemead...-my-new-set-up/my blow through loghttp://www.stevemead...future-updates/ 96 ss http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/164094-96-impala-ss-build/

After that shit my pants incident I wasn't nervous anymore and I beat that bike like it owed me money. a nervous rider is a dangerous one. That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals.

Went up and down the street easy a few times to get a feel. Friend (bike owner) told me to quit fucking around and open it up. Eased into the throttle, granny shifted to 2nd and gunned it, shifted to 3rd hard and got the wiggles. Fucking fate I didn't dump it. I just don't want that feeling again, like helpless. I always pull the clutch in when stopping unless in need to stop in a hurry even then it's risky because if you let the clutch out too fast you'll lock up the back tire. the riding around at high rpms is pointless as well, he must think he's at a race or something.
