Miguels
FML LSMotor by Kenneth Stephens, on Flickr this is the reason i went with a junk yard ls3.. its more expensive than the other lq engines but im saving lots of money by not going crate or ls7.. i was reading on my block and it looks like i can build it into a 418.. that would put me $2000 for the crank and pistons buy a used set of ls7 heads and i will still be under at 6k around 9k installed and everything my logshttp://www.stevemead...-my-new-set-up/my blow through loghttp://www.stevemead...future-updates/ 96 ss http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/164094-96-impala-ss-build/

Not only does it use a different bolt patterm, but the bore on an LS7 is 4.125", and it would ruin the quench area of your pistons as well increase pinging and drastically lower your compression. The L92 heads on the LS3 are KILLERS, i'd personally rather have them CNC'd than throw on oddball LS7 heads. Don't trust a shop but you personally just smoked two decks, makes sense. 03' Trailblazer LTDayton Designer 6.5"s & Silkie tweetersDayton Audio Ultimax 18"Pioneer 9601 & 8604XS Power D34002 runs 1/0Singer
