I just want my car trouble diagnosed and corrected. These fucks were about to send me on my way without even doing a pressure test. I told them exactly what the problem is, told them an easy way to diagnose it to disconnect the exhaust at the headers and see if the problem goes away, a whole 4 bolts. Instead, they stand around and talk about it, calling me full of shit. Loosening the bolts, test driving, and retightening would have taken 15 minutes, I was at the dealer from 9am until almost 1230. Is there another dealership you can take it to that won't have idiots behind the doors? This one really hits home with me because dads a mechanic and guys like that (and 95% of the mechanics I've met) are assholes who are lazy and take your money and most of the time do a shit job fixing something. They make honest hard working guys like my dad look bad. Side story that's relevant.. One time someone brought in a car that 2 different shops told him he needed a new engine, quoted 4 grand (which most engine jobs going out of dads shop are closer to 2200-3300. Then they came to my dad. Plugs cap rotors wires later, and shit purred like a kitten. Mechanics infuriate me.
