'97 Lexus ES 300, '00 Chrysler Concorde LX, and '96 Toyota Avalon. We're leaning towards the Lexus. 1999 GMC Suburban SLTNo system planned just yet. Look at "hate" spelled backwards. I don't really care for Toyota's myself. Personally I would get whichever one has lowest miles, and/or cheapest, and/or newest, and/or lots more goes into deciding, guess I'm not too familiar with any of these 3 personally, just some things to think about. Considering we're looking at anything under $2000, 'new' is not an option. Plus, age of a vehicle isnt a big issue if it's a reliable brand. At this point youre more concerned with it running well vs the look of it etc. Whochever has the better service record. . Rich Schenk Posted February 9, 2014 Report Posted February 9, 2014 that lexus has alot of miles good that it has a new engine but how is that trans. lexus costs alot for parts. but its up to you i know how it is when you need a car and you are tight on cash thats why i got my 2000 mountaineer. had $2500 and got it for $1900. just make sure you have someone you know that is a mechanic look at it first and try and take it somewhere to get checked out. engine trans brakes tires balljoints suspemsion. because you may be buying someone elses problem good luck man. EP95 Posted February 9, 2014 Report Posted February 9, 2014 I don't have experience with the Toyota and the Chrysler, but my grandma has the Lexus and its a pretty nice car. It's got like 230-240 thousand miles and still runs like a champ. they haven't replaced anything as far as I know and just do regular maintence on it. (sound systems pretty nice too)
