sundownz
We took it out the other day to check it over -- other than being broken in nicely (I think the most broken in Z v.4 I've ever seen) -- the sub is 100% mechanically, thermally, etc. Jovanni is a little rough on woofers, haha He's testing out some prototype lead wires for me on this woofer -- but otherwise it's a stock Z v.4 that I assembled myself. Thanks for sharing Steve -- he was pretty excited about that. - Jacob Fuller - Owner, Sundown Audio - Sundown Audio on FACEBOOK - Please DO NOT PM ME -- use my email address -- [email protected]

Mike Whitenton
The "wavy" effect in most subwoofer porn videos is due to the lack of frame buffer in the camera. Basically, the image sensor is scanned from top to bottom but the cone has moved by the time the bottom of the frame is scanned so it makes the cone wavy. My camera has a full frame buffer and there is no wavy effect. My old camera didn't have a frame buffer and it did the wavy effect. The sub's surround in the video is puckering like a mother and that isn't due to the camera. sundownz
It's definitely dimpling a bit... it is exceeding 100mm p-p (hard bottom is 125mm p-p) - Jacob Fuller - Owner, Sundown Audio - Sundown Audio on FACEBOOK - Please DO NOT PM ME -- use my email address -- [email protected]
kevgnar
Its the light waves from the sun reflecting off off the waves produced by the woofer, we cant see it with a naked eye, so the camera picks it up for us and the wave goes 2d As a result of the cameras interpertation of what os actually going on. Its not part of the visible light spectrum that humans can see. The camera shows us basicly the soundwave with sunlight. Try it indoors with no artificial light once:) On 2/27/2013 at 9:21 AM, Swordlordboy1234 said: Who needs electrical! It's a bc3500...
