LSN2meBoom916
I'd say just focus on doing 2 if your dead set on BTL 18's. Otherwise go with smaller subs, and more of them. Maybe 3-15's, 4-6 12's....but 4-18's I think you'd be wasting $$$ buying subs you don't really have the air to run. Or you better be reeeeaaallly good at squeeezin a whole lotta product into not enough space. ~2cents. 96Conti
like i said i dont mind to lose the back seat. but i have also thought about 2 15" Fi BTL's or 4 12 BTL's. but im not sure of what i will have to take out or reposition. i just got my 6 sets of tweets in today and i have an alpine 300 watt V12 to run them and i am replacing all factory speakers with Type R setup. but i would like the FI's but not sure the box dimensions i would have to build for either setup. If anyone has a diagram or an idea then that would help ALOT....THANX!!!!! Quote www.ecrack.net Member
pstone11
Three 15's walled... You'll have the room, especially if you dip into that trunk space.. Port right behind your dome... 96Conti
if i dip into the trunk i would have the room to run 4 15's in it. i would have to relocate the wires behind the rear seat. but i could make the rear of the box come into the trunk. NOT A PROBLEM THERE!!...im trying to get as loud as i can here and i realize that i will need alot of power as i am working on a bracket to hold 2 300 amp alts. and a serious amp rack in the very rear of the trunk. but im jus trying to get a basic idea on subs and tuning for a GIGATNIC box!!
