That's a bigger project than I want to forego at this time. Another reason for wanting to have the batts in the bed is ease of service. I absolutely despise getting on the ground or on my back to do anything to my truck. I always end up with something in my eye from the frame(eye protection or not) and it's game over. Having the batts right as soon as you open the tailgate well be a real benefit, plus 600+ pounds in batts will give me a solid 2" drop. Free drop kit FTMFW!!!
