OrzechNJ Posted February 27, 2014 Report Posted February 27, 2014 u mean the rear deck ?! sometimes Loud is NOT pretty Sounds like its safe to go ahead and bend that ass over.
rsfm089 Posted February 27, 2014 Author Report Posted February 27, 2014 There's a lip that comes down for the seat to lock into and they prevent my box from sliding in so I want to cut it off plus it might be the only way I can get a box in so I can upgrade later. Oh yeah 96 Honda civic sedan
pioneerforlife Posted February 27, 2014 Report Posted February 27, 2014 assuming you mean rear deck I personally wouldn't cut it but I have seen people remove the whole thing. it probably depends on the type of car. some cars may use it as a form of bracing and or support for the frame of the car. 2007 Ford Focus SES Hatchback Pioneer HU 4 Digital Designs 9515i's in a B pillar. 2 Soundstream XXX 15K's (running at 16 volts) Soundstream Mids/Highs in custom door panels (getting rebuilt soon) Soundstream TA2.160 and TA2.400 Sky High and KNU wiring 3 Banks of Maxwell caps Winston Lithium (not a fan) Bump4Life 250 Amp Alt. aka USAlternators Soundstream Focus and Avenger Build Log Instagram @p4linnovation YouTube: Team Blowin Loud
mbdblue Posted February 27, 2014 Report Posted February 27, 2014 personally I cut about 4-5 inches off the bottom lip....the rear deck is still in tact though. All depends on where your seats latch and if your willing to lose them.
