roberto15 Posted March 5, 2014 Report Posted March 5, 2014 This question has been bugging the crap out of me today. What if you had 8, 12" running at 800 watts in series? So about 100 watts per sub. Lets say hypothetically we had all of this is in a correctly tuned ported box. What kind of SPL levels would you get from this? This sort of leads me to my next venture in ideas. When you have two subs in two different boxes outputting 120db each individually, when you play them at the same time what would the resulting SPL be in a mid sized car? I know I am getting into the physics behind it, but there are no answers I can find easily.

I think he was doing like 140 on term lab or something crazy. Look it up on YouTube. I'm on mobile and at work so I'm not gonna link it but go search it.
