audiofanaticz Posted March 9, 2014 Report Posted March 9, 2014 DC Power also recomends Gates with their alts too. Orilellys, CarQuest, and usually your small non chain part store carry gates. I think Autozone will carry the Daycos, or advance auto (one of those 2). And if its a underdrive pulley on the alt, usually a 1/4 to 1/2 inch shorter on belt size, but it will depend on your belt tensioner as well. Might be a pita to get on. There is a part store lookup on the gates website, just enter your zipcode and it will tell you local retailers.

Nope, I usually have one stuffed under the hoes hood someplace or in the back someplace.. I know at one time I had a gatorback in their for a spare too that was just the normal size without having to run the 2 other alts but gladly gave it to a buddy who had a blazer. I go through them fast. I can make the alts squeal like piggies from belt slippage just getting on the gas a little hard without even having a system in the truck, or any such load on them.
