Swordlordboy1234 Posted March 10, 2014 Report Share Posted March 10, 2014 Soooo.....Amp reads .5ohms like it should.All coils read 2ohms like they should.No box air leak.I'm like 99% sure I'm wired in phase. (I recently re wired both subs because of adding carpet so I wire might have gotten switched, but I checked and it and it looked correct.Both subs play above tuning loud and what looks to be in phase. Both move the at the same time and distance. But below tuning (31hz) the passenger sub doesn't move. The kick (punch notes) will play but a continuous bass note won't.(Here's where it gets weird)Take both subs out. Both subs move awesome.Take one sub out. Both move awesome.Sounds like a out of phase issue right? Many people asked if the subs were both new or both had same amount of play time. He never answered and got all pissy about it later on. But I know yours have the exact amount of play time. that's all I can add. Both have never seen any other amp or power. Neither has been played more then another. And they have only been played next to each other (free air or in box) never individually wired to my amp. Edit.. Same motors. The only way to tell the difference is one motor has a nice scratch on the bottom one doesn't.... Other then that they are identical. I'm tempted to check the wiring on the other sub tomorrow. (The one that doesn't move was checked and re wired today) I'm also tempted to switch sub locations and see if it follows sub or follows side. Normally an out of phase issue would be across the entire bandwidth. Is this on both full and low power? "Clipping" is the biggest forum boner now.
