Louisiana Bass Posted March 12, 2014 Report Share Posted March 12, 2014 Like title says, I just went to start my car and as soon as I turned the key all the way, there was a loud bang under the hood. Looked under hood and one of the plastic covers on a battery that covers the holes had flown off, so I'm guessing the battery messed up. Took a volt meter to it and still reading 12.8v,but when I go to turn the car over, I get absolutely nothing. And I don't mean like when the battery is dead, it's a different sound that it's making when turning over right now, like a extremely fast spinning noise. I had installed a system earlier on in the day, but it played fine and I was driving around and everything. Let it sit for a couple of hours and went to start again and bang! I'm sure the battery is an issue but it seems like there's something else wrong as well. Also, checked connections on amp and all was good. Ground wasn't hot, wires were all tight in amp. N8.
