jarrius Posted March 21, 2014 Report Posted March 21, 2014 One way to find out if they will fit is get mesuments of your trunks usable space or what you want to use and figure out how many cubes you have. Or go with 10's if you don't think 12's will fit. One thing you need to know the size of the sub does not mean shit in reality it's all on the install. Krakin Posted March 21, 2014 Report Posted March 21, 2014 This is a great place to learn in high detail almost all of the topics you need to about car audio in a beginner form. http://www.bcae1.com/ Krakin's Home Dipole Project http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/186153-krakins-dipole-project-new-reciever-in-rockford-science/#entry2772370 Krakin, are you some sort of mad scientist? I would have replied earlier, but I was measuring the output of my amp with a yardstick . . . What you hear is not the air pressure variation in itself but what has drawn your attention in the two streams of superimposed air pressure variations at your eardrums An acoustic event has dimensions of Time, Tone, Loudness and Space Everyone learns to render the 3-dimensional localization of sound based on the individual shape of their ears, thus no formula can achieve a definite effect for every listener.

dharris2488 Posted March 21, 2014 Report Posted March 21, 2014 The best thing you can do is comb these forums...there is a lot of information out there in other places that isnt monitored whatsoever, so it lets people get on there and spread around all their filthy lies. There is plenty of false information out there to watch out for, and this is a good place to find the facts. Looking over all the build logs is a great way for inspiration too...you never know what other people have done that you would have never thought of. Just remember, were all sharing the same struggle. Nothing in car audio is "easy" lol. Best of luck to you. Just like Swampy mentioned above, do your research through this website and possibly some others. You will begin to pick up on what's correct on what's not correct. YouTube video's have helped me install my new High Output alternator, but now I need a battery or two to store my power. I also upgraded my Big 3. Do some research on the Big 3, watch YouTube video on the Big 3 (some call it the Big 4), and that will be a good place to start. I just ran across another filthy lie that get's people new to this game is serious problems.... I thought I would post this just to show you what horrible lies can be found on the interwebs. I hate when people post when they have NO IDEA what they are talking about. Here is the quote is just found on the "Big 3 Upgrade." Everyone, have a good laugh! Just make sure that you upgrade your big 3 (high output alternator, 0 gauge wire, secondary battery). :WTFBubble: :WTFBubble: :WTFBubble: This KILLS ME!!!! That is not the Big 3 upgrade, although if you start running 1500-2000 watts+ RMS, then you will definitely need to look into the 3 items mentioned above. Do it right the first time and you will save yourself a ton of money in the long run!
