hankfan79
Does anyone know of any REPUTABLE companies that make a 300A circuit breaker? I tried Stinger and Rockford. 200A is as big as they go. I appreciate any ideas. Thanks.

SnowDrifter
^^Any particular reason you want a breaker vs. a fuse? Breakers can fail and stick closed. hankfan79
Running a dual battery setup and would like it in case I need to do some maintenance or whatever on the back end of the stereo. I figured it would be easier to disconnect power this way. No?
SnowDrifter
Just pull out your fuses. I know I am the shithead in this party, & have taken some friendly abuse by folks that are actually in this very thread, but I like using circuit breakers in my builds ... been using them for many, many years. Not many 300A units out there ... May I ask what you are running off one, or would be passing through one that a 200 would not work? Sutliff
Does not matter where, it matters what kind of current you are passing through them. If an amp calls for a 100A fuse/breaker, because higher will hurt it, you would most likely NOT put a 200 on it. So that is why I ask why a 200A would not work? What is your ALT's amperage output? DubNDodge
Not sure what is so hard about taking out fuses. I can have my rear fuses all out in less than two minutes if needed.
