He seems VERY technically smart, but real world results don't seem to be there on a good amount of builds. This could be builder error, but ive heard of quite a few falling on their face and paying close to 100 bucks for a design. Guy seems to put himself above people with how he talks IMO, he doesnt talk as someone who is intelligent, it is like he is trying to impress his audience by doing a "look how smart i am" sort of speech. Basically using big words for no reason, when being a youtuber, using more common terms would actually benefit his viewers. He will say something like electro-acoustic transducer instead of when he could just say speaker. That sort of thing.
