Installing Pioneer 80prs anything special to be aware of?

Installing 80prs later on today in Commander any special settings should or tweeks I should be aware of? Hope this unit does how well it is rated.

running 4 amps here! Running no crossover either. Use amps crossovers.

Your not going to use the network mode? (id re think that??, xovers on that, will blow the xovers on the amps 10 to 1.)

If not make sure the switch on the HU is switch to STANDARD. Install like any other HU.

Then why do you need the 80-PRS?

I'd rather use the crossover on that unit than the amp's crossover anyday

Set amps to all pass and use the xover on the hu. All adjustments right at the tip of your fingers is way better then having to adjust the amps. Just simply time saving and effective compared to taking longer to adjust the anps

The amps will give him INFINITE ability. But, will need a cc1

the prs only has "set" area sets. 40, 55,63,80 example.

But with that, you get a way broader SLOPE, one that is adjustable on the fly, at your finger tips. As well as a BAND PASS in the MID section that i fucking LOVE.

Net work gets you band adjustment, which, is what saved my ass. I love it.

Now, your running 4 amps? they will all be on seperate band widths ? If so, that is 4 way active, something the prs CAN NOT DO in network. ONLY THREE WAY ACTIVE capable.

EDIT -Sorry bro, i cant remember what your doing with your amps. Are 2 amps for subs? If so, then, that would be 3 way active (high, mid, sub w/2 amps) and you COULD let the prs dictate.

2 amps for back doors 1 for each door 1 amp for front doors and 1 amp for highs. Also single sub amp.
