I got home one day last week, and there was tree bark. It was in a line out to the mail box. I found a "bald" spot on the tree, and just thought some animals where digging for grubs or some odd shit.

At any rate, you might want to invest in a grounding pole. A big-ass metal rod that should be higher than any trees or structures and driven deep into the ground.

Oh,,. substation meaning the one in our back yard...lol.

They were there next day replacing the gray tubs.....

Also.. I was fortunate to have some KILLER surge protector outlet bundles.

My bad ass TV that was on the same outlet bundle survived, the MODEM that was plugged into the same died...

We lost and kept shit, all plugged into here and there. We lost one PS3 and one was fine, that was plugged into the same SP.

We kept a back TV that was just right to wall outlet.

go figure
