boom50cal
The clarion is simple, has a nice big volume knob, and is easy to navigate. And it's not super expensive... SlamminBeats
probably getting clarion. didnt plan on buying a new HU so this set me back just a bit on my other equipment and the features seems fine for me.
BoomZoom808
I would have gone with the clarion if the display wasn't so ugly... PRS 80 or DEH x9600bhs I second the SQ compliment on the 9600. Never owned a clarion head unit only the EQ which was good but the new Pioneer has very good SQ better than the clarion EQ I would say. I just wanted to say on the subject of the Clarion HU being ugly. That couldn't be farther from the truth. While in the photos they dont seem to attractive, in person they look very nice. Photos do not do it justice. Cant go wrong with the clarion. Easy to use, reliable, perfect brightness and superb SQ. Anyways good luck on your decision. I just can't stand the alarm clock text that's all... It's 2014 they could add in a few more pixels. 2010 Mazda 3s 2.5L Pioneer DEH-X9600BHS Knu OFC 1/0 SS Platinum AGM / XS Power XP750 Alpine PDX F-4 / Morel Maximo 5 + Coax 5 IA 10.1 / SSA XCON

boom50cal
If you wanna go Pioneer, the P4400BH that I ran really was solid, had 4v preouts, bluetooth, iPhone, all that shit. Plus all it took to bypass was a grounding switch. Just didn't have a knob. On 1/4/2013 at 9:31 PM, HatersGonnaHate said: Wow. 184 posts and I think you're a fucking asshole. audiofanaticz
the alpine cde-bt149hd or whatever it is, supports flac or acc files iirc. Its a nice headunit, my favorite from alpine since the cda-9887 dead head.
