As much as I like seeing that Made in the USA sticker on stuff, other companies need to provide services as well. By no mean does it mean something is bad based on where it is made. XS power for example? I'm not getting into this, at all, but you n I probably have a similar viewpoint on the matter. Global economics. Exactly. At this point in the economy, no nation will excel if we all don't excel. Their are something that another nation can do better than we can, simple as that. Cars for example, back in the 70's some dude(for the life of me can't remember his name....) Went to the big 4 auto makes back then and showed them statistical analysis, to better crunch does on quality control and such. Well they said no, because American loved their cars and were going to buy them no matter what. Well he took the same thing to Japanese auto makers and they loved it. Within 10 years, Japanese cars were much better quality and had 10 times the reliability of an American Auto makers car... Guess what? Hard to beat the cost per unit when they pay pitiful wages to basically indentured servants. Assembled in China - This is where I'd be nervous. Historically, in many different industries, the Chinese just haven't seamed to figure out quality control. They can make stuff cheap, but anything complex usually ends up turning into a Charlie Foxtrot (ask a military buddy of yours for that definition.)
