whatusay45
Tried fiddling with Torres a bit but I couldn't get the the frequency to pop up. Box is 17 highx 20 wide x 12 deep. 1.46 cubes after displacement. Any help would be appreciated.
Joe X
The frequency displayed on Torres is for the port tuning, there's no port in a sealed box.
Triticum Agricolam
Sealed boxes don't have a tuning. They do change the resonant frequency of the sub thats in them. WinISD can show that info if you want. What do you intend to do with that information? Smoove
Doesn't one of Tony D's tools allow you test tuning on a sealed box. He demo'd it by showing the difference in using or not using polyfill 2 Team Fi 15's v1 2 DD M5's 970amps of Alt 6th order blowthroughThe truck Blowthrough build : http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/155555-smooves-1996-chevy-ext-cab-c1500-slow-build/The 350z build : http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/170694-smooves-2003-nissan-350z/ My FB page https://www.facebook.com/pages/Smooves-Car-Audio-and-performance/719746144805343 Team Fi Audio http://www.ficaraudio.com/

SnowDrifter
Sealed boxes have a resonance, not a tuning frequency. Notable is an impedance spike at resonance. This is also useful for tuning 4th orders where you want the ported side to be tuned to the resonance of the sealed side ~~~~~~~~SAY NO TO PHOTOBUCKET~~~~~~~~ Snow's DD-1 tracks here: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/167433-snows-dd-1-tracks/ My take on OFC vs CCA: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/110381-things-that-piss-you-off-in-the-car-audio-world/?do=findComment&comment=2461444

Great answer Chris, it's quote worthy. Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.
