how to find the tuning of a sealed box?

Recommended Posts

Sealed boxes don't have a tuning. They do change the resonant frequency of the sub thats in them. WinISD can show that info if you want. What do you intend to do with that information?

Doesn't one of Tony D's tools allow you test tuning on a sealed box. He demo'd it by showing the difference in using or not using polyfill

Sealed boxes have a resonance, not a tuning frequency. Notable is an impedance spike at resonance. This is also useful for tuning 4th orders where you want the ported side to be tuned to the resonance of the sealed side

I should have specified resonance as well. Great answer Chris, it's quote worthy.

Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.
