But decided not to. lololol front stage is the next thing changing in this.... going to do 2 6.5's and a nice tweeter where I already have it in the dash. I LOVED how your b2 mids sounded. If you don't LOVE IT / GOTTA HAVE IT... then PA is best PRV be so cheap its like.. Id pay $18 to break them, but i can use them in my audio build for that same $18? boom50cal Posted August 7, 2014 Author Report Share Posted August 7, 2014 Singer alt worked perfectly for all of 10 minutes then took a shit. Out of nowhere. Big 3 in all skyhigh 2/0 CCA. Belt tension is good. Got the car 98% wrapped up. Had EVERYTHING stuck back in except for the rock cover that goes on the bottom of the car. Got in it, turned it on, 14.1v. Turned the AC on, 13.9. Played Bill Withers "Ain't No Sunshine" and Future's "Itchin" with KILLER voltage. Dropped to 13.1 on the low note in Itchin (26hz). Car was on for literally 10 minutes. Turned it off, raised the car back up on the lift, stuck the cover back on. Lowered it down. Pulled the lift arms out, turned the car on and the alt wasn't charging. Voltmeter at the amp read 13.0. Alt charge cable read 12.9. The alt exciter wire read 11.8. Tried all kinds of shit, unplugging the exciter wire or whatever the fuck it is. Pulled the 2/0 charge cable off. Nothing worked. Alt isn't charging at all. Sent mike an email... waited 6 weeks for the alt and it's not even working. Kinda upset but I know mike is gonna take care of me on it. If not the absolute best in the industry. But the failure rates I've seen from some of these companies make it not worth it for me. I'd rather pay more money and deal with limited contact knowing nice I get it in my hands it will never have to leave them again. Things that break more often like subs and amps I'd go with customer service number one. But mechanical parts, batteries, wires, deadener.... Stuff like that.. I just wanna install it once and never look back.
