Could these Extreme cars actually end a persons life if you were to sit inside?

Recommended Posts

I was just wondering If it would actually kill you if you were to sit inside during a run, and if it didnt kill you, what would it do to you?

*MODS* im not sure if this needs to be in the 18 + section or not. if so, please move it! Thanks!

Krakin, are you some sort of mad scientist?

I would have replied earlier, but I was measuring the output of my amp with a yardstick . . .

What you hear is not the air pressure variation in itself

but what has drawn your attention

in the two streams of superimposed air pressure variations at your eardrums

An acoustic event has dimensions of Time, Tone, Loudness and Space

Everyone learns to render the 3-dimensional localization of sound based on the individual shape of their ears,

thus no formula can achieve a definite effect for every listener.

I used to work as an aircraft mechanic/fueled/ramp handler in military, private, and commercial aviation. Closest thing I can think of to sitting inside some of these record breaking cars played in anger is getting jet blasted by a very large aircraft (force/decibels). I can definitely see serious injury depending on the length of exposure. First damage will be soft tissues, ear drums and eye balls.

I know true tv isnt true, but they had an episode of lizard lick towing that reminds me this thread. Dude with car that was going to be repo locked the guy inside and cranked up the custom radio system. He claimed to be deaf for a few hours afterwards.
