Should be giving the subs their RMS and if things go my way for once, maybe a little over 2K a sub... Already eager to get these in and I don't even have a design mocked up for my build! Better get to designing... Awesome! Great decision.

Better get to designing... No way these subs will see the amps peak rms on music especially if under 13v. That being said, your selection is a good match. They should get pretty loud.

Yeah, I clamped my one 2200 this afternoon and was quite shocked at what I saw. I not getting anywhere near peak RMS. It is what it is. I'm still moving forward with the strapping and considered asking Quentin if I could change my order to D1's instead of D2's. Reason being is at 40hz, I'm having 3.6ohms of rise. I decided I'm going to stick with D2's, as I don't really want to fry anything. I will still be the loudest in my neighborhood by a longshot, but will I be winning any comps? Prolly not. It's going to be fun though! I'm hoping for some good numbers none the less. Very excited about getting these subs... I also drove back home today with my DMM plugged into my amp playing music. Most of the time, I was sitting at 13.2-13.3, unless a big, long drop came. Then it voltage drop was 12.8 at the lowest. I'm not too worried about right now. I guess I will keep throwing batteries at it to keep it as stable as possible... Just got a box design from Joe X that look like it will work. Going to have to set my subsonic at 28, but that's low enough.
