Hi guys

Quick question, I got around to powering the amps up today..... And nothing...

They don't power up at all? I did notice the positive terminals sparked a little when I connected them..

Any ideas?

Is this CT sounds gear that bad?

Maybe you shorted something and a fuse popped? Get a DMM and see if you have voltage where you need it.

And I don't see the remote wire plugged in the pictures, you installed them, right?

Did you checkwith a dmm or something to make sure you have 12volts going to the remote wire input?

I assume the positives spark due to the caps in the amps...mine did the same when I firsthooked power up.

I shooting in the dark here man amazing build BTW!

Funny how the people who have a louder system than you will usually give you a compliment about your setup because they know how much blood, sweat, time, and money you put into it. The people who criticize or try and one up you....have a p.o.s to no system at all and will tell you all about this "other" guys system! Saddley I'm sure if I meet this "other" guy...he will probably tell me he thinks your just as annoying as I think you are!

I'm not compensating, just proud of fabricating!

No output from amps or the light won't come on? I've had amps have bad power lights before.

Thanks for the replies guys.

REM has +12v, I even tried hot wiring the REM straight to the batts.

Amps have +12v at every terminal.

It's weird, both do the same thing though.

Just wired up a tiny temporary amp and that works, so I'm not too sure what to do.

Have you ever tested the amps outside of the car? Are they brand new or second hand? What about Leo's question?
