What fans are you guys using to cool your amps/setups

There's a thousand on newegg.....most are 3 wire, I assume that wouldn't matter

Any 2 wire ones for even more simplicity?

120mm seems the most common

the 3rd wire is to control the speed? So if you don't use that one will they just spin at their max rating?

I used 8 of these:

They are actually 4 wire. Positive, Negative, Tachometer sense wire, and control wire. But yeah, you can just use the positive and negative and it will spin at max. That's for any case fan, I've done it a few times before.

Wire the third wire to 12v, Should spin max speed.

one positive wire and two negatives... depending which ground is connected will change the speed-

would also like to add that they make more noise when mounted horizontally... which sucks... dont know if they are not ment to be mounted that way or what??? any computer guys know???

Horizontal or vertical. Doesn't matter. I have both in my case.
