I used 8 of these:

They are actually 4 wire. Positive, Negative, Tachometer sense wire, and control wire. But yeah, you can just use the positive and negative and it will spin at max. That's for any case fan, I've done it a few times before.

"Clipping" is the biggest forum boner now. It's like witchcraft... it automatically explains just about everything people don't understand.

Wire the third wire to 12v, Should spin max speed.
