NEW TRUNK SCORE

Recommended Posts

nice! and i looks like your not even sealed around the box huh? :good:

wouldn't be surprised if he loses on the meter sealing it like that. Lots of extremely loud trunks aren't sealed off.

Thanks for the compliments guys!

It's actually sealed off with wood trim panels and gorilla tape lol..

What happened today was I did a 149.8 my first run. Then I charged my two TINY Stinger batteries in between runs for the first time ever and jumped up almost 2 db.. who would have thought good voltage could have made such a difference..

Guess it's a sign for me to get more batteries haha

very nice score man! i´m at 151.4 on 2 12s and a 4K right now, want the best input you´ll get???? change the amp´s location, place it on top of the box if you can, you´ll gain tons, i had the amp on the same spot and gained .9 dbs, that port needs more room to breath :)

I´m the SPL Gains topic creator!! wanna get louder?? check this: SPL Gains. Panamenian 2009 & 2010 & 2014 Bass Race 149.9 Champion!

Thanks everyone! TBH I was thinking about mounting the amp on the box but I've seen so many amps destroyed from that that I am very hesitant...

Agreed. a plastic trophy isn't worth a 700$ repair of an amp that big. I'd be very nervous about that as well... though I also expect you stand to gain by moving that amp somewhere else if the extra few tenths is worth the risk.

So you gained 2 db by having good voltage? Aren't you one that says you don't need a great electrical?

Touche...

Although I had no doubts I would gain with better electronic. It was more along the lines of it not being a complete necessity. :)
