adreano17
Low gains at my amp. I have checked everything! New amp, new ground, new RCA, new LOC, new LOC with new RCA, amp bypass, still no more than about 2v at amp terminal at max gain. Only thing left to get now is a new radio or iPod integration. It started with only one channel giving me problems, now its all of them. Did my factory radio just take a shit? Please help, I'm ripping my fucking beard out... adreano17
Multiple dumbass moments in a day, please forgive me. Playing 1khz test tone on repeat at 3/4 volume on stock headunit. 4 channel amp. HPF on, as well as tried with FULL filter on. When DMM in AC volts, it only shows a max of 2v at the speaker terminals on the amplifier. Mind you, this is while the gain on the amp are near maximum. Thanks for the help in advance guys. philrab
Are you 1000% sure your DMM isn't auto ranging, and you're mistaking 2V for 20v or something like that? Easy mistake to make if you're not very familiar with the equipment. 2015 Toyota Tacoma Build Thread 2007 Mazda 3; 5000K HID's, Kenwood Excelon KDC-X997, Infinity Reference 6.5 comps in front and coaxials in the rear doors, JL 320.4 four channel, Rab Designs built ported enclosure with an SA12, Kenwood monoblock, Redline Leater shift boot/e-brake boot/center console cover, JBR short shifter/shifter bushings/rear motor mount. Easy mistake to make if you're not very familiar with the equipment. That seems plausible. But I don't think so. I am using the lowest AC voltage on the DMM. The only two options are 600 and 200. I am using 200. adreano17
Should I just replace my factory radio? Seems like the problem is arising before even getting to the factory amp.
