buff_n3rd
Long time lurker but finally signed up to bug the Battlefield 4 group. Now its time to plan the subs. I have a 2011 Toyota Rav 4 Sport edition. I don't have the 3rd row seats so it opens up the back more. I have no idea where to start. I don't have a budget but I don't want to invest my house into the car. I'll have to get some measurements and pics (unless there are other builds in similar vehicle, which I couldn't find). What I would like would be a Samsung Tab 7" in the dash. That is basically as far as I got. Subs in the $150-$200 range would probably be the most ideal. Maybe 2 x 12" subs would be the plan, 3 would/could work depending on how much of the back it takes up. I am figuring for 2-2.5 cubic feet per sub would suffice based on all the other enclosures I have seen. What more info would we need from me to start putting this together. Thanks in advance. OrionStang
RAV4 is kinda small. Need to get some measurements. And is that $200 a sub, or $200 for two subs. You still need an amp and wiring upgrades, and might need at least an extra battery. Its gonna add up quick. buff_n3rd
200 per sub. I have no real budget mainly because I don't know what appropriate parts would run. Let's say 3500 is my budget right now for everything excluding the head unit. Subs/wood for box/wiring/alternator if neccesary/ batteries if neccesary/components. I still need to lug the kids around so pulling out seats etc isn't an option.
OrionStang
You can work with that. Just post up some measurements. SMD Super Seller My Feedback Thread
bighossf150
3 sa12"s on a bc2000 at .67 would be a nice beginner set up. Xs d2400 under the hood, xp2000 in the back and a singer/mechman 240 alt would be a solid electrical set up too.
