GassenD
I love my 2200D, I had a hifonics brx 2000 and it was a hell of an upgrade, louder, cleaner, and way more efficient. Broke_Audio_Addict
$429 is cheap for a quality 2k amp. That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals. RainStryke
I have two HDS312's as well. I bought my first one a little over 3 months ago and my second a few weeks ago. I'm currently breaking in the new one so they will both be broken in when I put them in a dual sub box. In the right box just one of these are crazy in my litte Toyota Corolla. I'm currently running a Hifonics Brutus Elite 1700.1D and it can get 1 HDS312 pretty hot, to where I have to turn it down... my gain is only 30% and my stock alternator and battery set-up can only keep the voltage in the 13.8V range. I got mine for $230 on Amazon... I'd say grab that if you can get the price I did. Otherwise, i'd recommend a Crescendo S1500.1D or one of the Hifonics Brutus Elite series amps. http://store.crescendoaudio.com/symphony-s1500-1/
dharris2488
I run strapped 2200's and love them... Just save up another hundo and buy a quality amp. HiFonics may give you power, but so so so not efficient. OrionStang
SoundQubed is arguably the best quality for your money you can get right now, as far as amps go. SMD Super Seller My Feedback Thread

Ahmed Johnson
The hifonics is clipping your shit, that's why it gets hot. I would get a used sq/aq 2200 over any new hifonics. I used to LOVE hifonics until I got soundqubed.
