Might be a bit more controllable that way. Just saying. I would NEVER run those on-axis to any ones ear. Best thing to do is get a long speaker wire from your amp, play some music, and experiment with different locations. Can use double-sided tape to put them in a temp location. People can tell you what they like, but it may not sound good to you in your vehicle. Do a little work, it will pay off later. "Clipping" is the biggest forum boner now. It's like witchcraft... it automatically explains just about everything people don't understand.
