FT-1's are supposed to be crossed at 5k........because super tweet Well I already ordered the ft1 how should I go about running them then ? They make crossovers for the FT-1's. If you use them with the passive crossovers with the CZ's, pretty sure they are going to overpower the mids, even with the -3dB on the crossover. If the damn tweets only last two hours, good luck on the rest of the components lasting any longer. That's what I was thinking any ideas on any other good tweets ? Yes, Honestly, you'll be surprised at the Polk Audio Db 6501 tweeters that come with the components. (Let's not all jump on me at once- hear me out!) The crossovers they come with are absolute crap, but when you pair the tweeter up with a nice higher end crossover, like the eclipse 8062, or the RF T2 x-0ver,or the JL XR X-over, they sound completely different! You can pick them up for $32.00 shipped. I will put my money where my mouth is, and if you buy them and are not satisfied, sell them to me!!!
