Isn't it like 100lbs loss is 1whp gained?

Imagine the gas saved from going from say 5batts to 5-8banks of caps. I mean 400+lbs down to 35lbs...

Gas mileage and less strain on the engine/tranny seeps like a big upside with the weight of the caps

There will be far less loss to heat in a cap bank. Using caps WITH a primary battery keeps the battery from the exponentially higher percentages of loss that happen in a faster discharge. This heat (loss) is why a battery can supply so many more watt hours when discharged more slowly. The same test done in a vehicle with a primary battery and running at 2000 rpm will show the cap winning if only but by a small margin.
