Hi guys!

New at this forum, so if the post is placed wrong, please correct me :)

I got a Ground Zero GZPW15SPL sub, and i need a enclosure for it, but it has to be a box that fit the sub, and not the vehicle cause im changing car pretty often.. its gonne be a serious box, cause the sub's weight is 47kg (about 105lbs)

But i really dont know how big it should be.. im thinking tuned to 33hz and L port.. specs on the sub can you see here :

Hope you guys could show me what it should look like with all messurements ect. and feel free to correct hz and everything if you have a better idea (wich i think)

Best regards

welcome to the right section ;) haha just being a dick

I'm on break at work so don't have access to many resources... but can start you off hopefully

start by downloading Torres box calculator

play with that, putting in dimensions and port sizes, just have fun and experiment

use the sub specs from the pdf to start, especially recommended ported volume (can't see PDF on phone)

Based on the specs on the PDF

4-4.5cubes tuned to 33hz with 15-17 sqin of port per cube.

What kind of power are you planning on running and what vehicle? Also, are you looking for daily or SPL?

This tuning is NOT for this driver. Sure, it will play, but it's not what the driver is built for. It likes higher tuning. The subwoofer itself is pretty stiff, so it would require a lot of power.

Still need to know what vehicle is it, in any case what's your next vehicle to see that the box fits both if possible.

you seriously serious about that??

they DO play lows verry nice, and they bang when they do play...also you need to throw a lot of power to them to play lows..
