Also going to have to worry about gain matching the two amps, cause if they put out even slightly different power levels you're going to run into issues quickly.

The CC and DD were mailed to me and are enroute. I am just getting an early start on set up so all I have to do is gain match and play

one amp per coil @ 1ohm gain matched with the CC1 after you DD1 one of the amps

Just checking. Skipping that step even if everything is wired right is going to cause you serious heartburn.

Volume? I hope you're not referring to the gain as a "volume" because those are definitely not the same.

Volume? I hope you're not referring to the gain as a "volume" because those are definitely not the same.

I meant the gain on the amp. I was thinking about puting that half way up on both amps and trying it out that way.

I meant the gain on the amp. I was thinking about puting that half way up on both amps and trying it out that way.

That is a very bad idea

1. because most of the time the gains do not need to be set that high

2. If you do that you'll possibly clip the hell out of the sub

3. I'd be surprised if you could even get both of them in the exact same position

Just wait for the DD-1 and CC-1 to get to you. It's better to be safe than sorry, especially when you dealing with expensive equipment.
