sicrides6 Posted November 13, 2014 Report Posted November 13, 2014 Needing recommendation on best type of box for 4 15s in a 97 Tahoe these are dual 4s and will be running on two amps 2 subs per amp. Would it be possible to do in a slot port. I am currently running 2 in a slot tuned to 35. Would I be able to build the exact enclosure and just double the size of w-h-l and double the port size as well. Kinda a noob. All feed back is appreciated
Karkov Posted November 13, 2014 Report Posted November 13, 2014 All Tahoe's are full size, lol, all good man. Yes, you can have all 4 in one box with a slot port and in 1 common chamber. Just doubling all dimensions will not be right. Someone else will chime in with what exactly you should do as I am no box expert. Doubling one dimension in your LxWxH measurement will double the volume of the box. Are you going from 2 subs to 4 of the same? A box designer will need sub specs and your max possible dimensions.
