I am looking at eBay for paint.

  • Primer
  • Paint
  • Clear Coat

I found scratchwizard which as a Mercedes Polar white which looks awesome. Should I buy scratch wizard or go with ppg? Where have you bought paint online? What brands have you used?

I'm at the point of figuring out how I'm going to paint my wall and have been gathering ideas for a while. I've read several topics about painting (mdf) and one of the issues seems to be the exposed edges - and to either have a sanding sealer or some fiberglass resin or body filler over it so it doesn't just soak up the paint on the exposed edge.

I've searched for "paint MDF" etc. and some topics have good information but none really have the complete process from sanding to priming to finishing etc. Could someone point us in the right direction?

And n8, I'm lucky to have a friend who has a spray gun and a hugeass compressor in his shop.

So I live in Tijuana and everything here is imported so it costs more. So thats why I buy online. I don't know shit about painting. I don't know whats good paint or overkill. I know if I bring the stuff across the border that I could get someone to paint it.

Well having been an industrial painter/sandblaster for years,I can back n8 up. Spraying takes practice and it is an art form.

Im not saying you cant but at least practice on your scrap wood first.

Still learning but have started gathering.
