Masterbasser
buying used can get you alot for ur cash but it can also get you ripped off and leave u with more problems then u started, about 13 years ago I had a lesson in this when i purchased used mmats d300hc amplifier on ebay. hookd it up n poundednatbitch a while next thing i know i have clouds of smoke coming out my ports and cooked woofers, turns out the amp had issues and wasnt even fixable, ended up making a deal with the amp repair company for a mmats d200hc they had that worked. be vigilant, always be wary of somone who wants to trade you stuff. anyways for 2k fetty years ago i was doing 140 db all day long (sealed dbdrag style bassrace score) with: a couple 2000 watt amps( paid around 400 a piece) on a used dd 9515 (paid 325 picked up locally) in a big ported box (paid around 100 for box) with a 200 dollar kenwood excelon used head unit all stock electrical and a g31 optima in the back (paid 100 bucks used) cost me bout 100 bucks for all the wiring and big 3 and such forgot the highs 30 dollar pioneer 6 1/2s and 50 dollar ma audio 5x7s off head unit equipment i used for 2 years without issues until i sold it all and got out of the car audio scene Kenwood excelon ddx795 3 370 amp CES alternators (audio side only) McLaren dome tweeters Crescendo 6.5 ultra neos NVX JAD800.4 4 PA x4 SPL 18's 4 Digital Designs m5's at .7 ohms each 2 K2 80 ah lithiums 3 group 31 agms Ledglow million color (12 piece) 2007 Yukon xl

alaskanzx5
Save the $ on the rf speakers forget about the rear and do a better speaker up front. Can be had for less then $300 still keeping you under 2k. t1500bdcp 2 t2d4 15" 1 t600.4 1 t400.2 1 set p1 tweets singer alt, tons of wiring, smd vm-1, 80prs, back seat delete, still in the works, aiming for a 145-147 with the ability to play 25hz up to 50hz. alaskanzx5
Honestly though, think about it. Get a nice comp set for 600-700 a 2ch used for under 200. Either 200rms or 400rms could work pending speakers and final impedance. That's under $1000 Add in a good 4guage wire for front to back $60-80 with RCA for the 2ch Puts you just about at 1k on the dot. Put another 200-250 in a goid agm batt, and 40-60 for the big 3. Your at 1300roughly 500rms amp for under 200used can be found 1 Sa 12 another 200 plus RCA wires and a distro block 1 4g in 2 4guage out that adds another 40-50. 1750 roughly All you have left is a box (material 60-80) and speaker wire (20-30). Gives you a little over $100 for anything I forgot... Like a cd player.. t1500bdcp 2 t2d4 15" 1 t600.4 1 t400.2 1 set p1 tweets singer alt, tons of wiring, smd vm-1, 80prs, back seat delete, still in the works, aiming for a 145-147 with the ability to play 25hz up to 50hz.
