What's your dream setup for under $2000?

Holy shit.. Wow..

Anyway, Id do a pair of SA12s or even hit up Obsidian Audio.. do they have any more 12s fs.. or 15s if you can fit it? Maybe I missed what you drive?

But those subs on like 1500wrms.. So like an Crescendo 1500($300), DC 1.2k ($385), Soundqubed 1200 ($270), or even a Populus 1500 if you aren't in a rush.

You'd also want a new deck to simplify things Id imagine.. so $100-150.

Wiring is another $80 or so.

Subs-$400

Mono Amp - $300

HU - $100

Wiring - $80

AGM Starter Batt - $260ish

Battery Terminals - $40ish

So, with this you're around $1200 Deep. This leaves you with ~$800 for mids & highs, a mids and highs amp (if you choose), and sound deadener, along with little miscellaneous things.

SkyHighCarAudio is a very popular company here, and they produce all the wiring and sound deadening you'll need.

CNF Distribution.. my god.. Yes..They can provide you with the battery terminals. They're also dealers/vendors for SkyHighCarAudio.

So essentially from CNF Distribution, you can buy EVERYTHING except the new deck, batt, amps and subs.

Id go that route tbh.. No hesitation..

I had 2k in mine at some point...

then I started acting a fool

Single Tantric HD 15 - $400

Used Sundown 2k - $350

JBL Comps - $100

Used Alpine 4 channel - $60

"some deadner" - $100

SkyHigh 2/0 CCA - $115

RCA's, speaker wire, fuses, wood and glue, ~ $275

Right at $1400 there. Throw in 2 solid batteries(XP2000 and D4800 and shipping) We'll cap at $600.

2 grand, nabbed 3rd place in my class at Texas Heatwave, and a first place a show up here. SOILID daily musical setup.

ENOUGH. The mod staff is not anyone's personal lapdogs. We will not be at the beck and call of anyone just because they feel the need to stir the pot. Reporting the post after stirring up the shit does not make it ok. If you don't have anything to add dont post.

Im not even a SQ fan boy but this is what I would do if it was my $2k

Soundqubed for the most part...

2 Soundqubed HDS200 15s $210

Soundqubed 1200.1 $269

Welding cable $100>

MDF and stuffs $100

Mechman Alt $350

Headunit $200

Multi channel $free go steal it... (jks)

Walmart AGM or something $150

Doors $200?

Then I'd spend the rest on deadener or something. This is all what "I" would buy. Then again these guys have been here WAYYYY longer than me, I found your thread interesting and enjoyed reading those who actually responded. Good question bro! :)

Might need to add a few zeros to $2000 to get a dream system
