rockFord_Expedition Posted November 18, 2014 Report Posted November 18, 2014 Crossovers and amps do different things even though amps usually have crossovers built in. JP-12 Posted November 18, 2014 Report Posted November 18, 2014 You are gonna have to fab somethin to have a spot for the tweet and 3" if you go with those mids..
bcbrassard Posted November 18, 2014 Report Posted November 18, 2014 You are gonna have to fab somethin to have a spot for the tweet and 3" if you go with those mids.. Show him what you mean. And i think that might be a bit much for him at this time. But his ride might have a dash or A-Pillar speaker already for a start on a mounting location.
bcbrassard Posted November 18, 2014 Report Posted November 18, 2014 If you dont have location for 3-way speakers your going to have to fab up something with fiber glass. I wanted more midrange so i did my doors like this. And more Midbass in my kick panels so i am rebuilding them from a 6.5 to house a 8" So a yr ago i would have never thought about doing this but research, confidence and being a member here for 3 yrs gave me the courage to build these panels to get more out of my system.
