S15_Silvia
I have a Marantz. I look for as low a THD% as possible, good quality DACs (and sometimes dedicated per-channel DACs), upconversion from analog inputs to HDMI out, and a decent output power at 4Ω and higher. Having the automatic 'Audyssey' setup doesn't hurt either, but it doesn't always come out perfectly. 2016 Subaru BRZ | Sony XAV-AX100 | Rockford Fosgate DSM 4080 & DSM 40ix | On 6/6/2012 at 6:32 PM, 'LZTYBRN' said: 3. Ricky Reboot Dean
I use a 1970's era Kenwood KR-6600 home stereo amplifier. No HDMI nothing fancy like that but it does do 500 watts a channel. And has a killer sound to it. I don't like newer amps I like my old bulky square powerhouses with no protect or cut off in them. As bad as it sounds, I rather blow the speaker and buy upgrades for it than have an amp that dials back power because it has all the protect circuits in it.
