Zx1337xZ
Just talked to a guy at mechman and he said to jump the "L" wire from harness to alt and leave harness unplugged. The alt only needs 1 wire to function properly and the voltage wire being a low gauge wire is probably telling the alt it has low voltage so I shall give it a try and see what happens

Zx1337xZ
Ok so after jumping the wire it cause a voltage spike of over 20 volts which caused fireworks from one of my amps.. but on the bright side I did figure it out.. the infamous blue wire has to be ran to a 12 volt ignition source which I figured out on my own... the guy at mechman was completely wrong... anyway thanks for all the help and if u come across this again now we all know

Broke_Audio_Addict
Your lucky it didn't fry your cars computer. I wouldn't have done anything but send that alt back to them because it was clear from the beginning something was wrong with it. That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals. Zx1337xZ
Ya very lucky, but there wasn't anything wrong with it just didn't hook it up right and got the wrong info from them
Keith77
did they tell you over the phone on what to do or do you have an email ? Thats cool. Im way too old to be upset by shit like that. Your name is winston. Your own parents hated you even before you were born. My penis is bigger than your penis I'm far from loud and my roof/headliner flaps around like Adam's ass on a windy day. I think it depends more on the structure of the vehicle.
