Well I had a AQ 3500 v2 and got a audio systems 3k. Same exact thing as sundown saz 3k. Power wise, there's not much of a difference. I was dropping to 12.1v with the AQ and this amp I hardly see 12.9v By ear, it sounds the same. I can't seem to tell a difference....well, I metered today. With the AQ amp I did a 149.7 in the kick New amp I did 147.2 in the kick...how da fuck did I loose so much? Does my peak change? Or did I just loose out all together? mrd6 Posted December 24, 2014 Report Share Posted December 24, 2014 Double check your amp filters as already mentioned, its really easy to twist it all the way the wrong way, ask me how I know lol. Otherwise, its always good to do a power clamp before swapping amps. Even if you can just see how much clean voltage the amp is able to supply it can give you an idea of how much power you are actually seeing.
